An Artistic tribute to SP Balasubrahmanyam

Artist Pramod Sahu has won hearts for Creating a Striking Portrait of SP Balasubrahmanyam, which he showcased as Part of a Five-Day workshop in Hyderabad recently. With 48 Artists participating at the event, it was a grand celebration where like-minded people came together to experience art in the new normal.

When we asked Pramod Sahu about his inspiration behind the portrait, he said, “I have always been fascinated by the legendary singer SPB , who left a huge void in our lives (with his passing). As an artist, I wanted to dedicate something to him through my art and when I pondered over the Idea I Realised  that I can dedicate my skills and times as a tribute to him.”

The internationally acclaimed artist has been making Rangoli for the past 12 Years, and he created this life-like portrait of SPB in 14 Hours.
